Hi there!! I am finally back after all those tests and ready to get back to blogging!
Today I have a review of a wonderful middle grade book, Flying Over Water as a part of it’s blog tour hosted by Qamar Blog Tours, a company which focuses on promoting books by Muslim authors which a very wonderful thing in my opinion.
This book is definitely one of the top ten books I read this year and it convinced me that Middle Grade is in fact, disguised philosophy. Don’t agree with me? Maybe the quotes I share might convince you.
This tour also comes with a USA giveaway so don’t forget to enter in you are interested in reading a finished copy of this book!
So without further ado, let’s get straight into the review-

Hello. So my monthly goals are going pretty okay. My mid-terms start on 16th so I thought that putting this post out today will be appropriate.
Ok so I don’t know how to start this post as the number of brain cells I have left are very few. So Cinderella Is Dead, this book was perfect. It came into my house and the cover called me ugly in 16262352757157 languages. I loved it so so much. Literally who knew I needed a black, queer and feminist retelling of Cinderella in my life.
I also made a Kpop Playlist to go with the overall mood of the book which will be linked at the end of the post. I am very new to making curated playlists but I tried my best to match songs with the mood of the book 🥺
So without further ado, lets get into the post-

I am very proud to announce that this post has been very kindly sponsored by the one and only Goodreads and its very white recommendations!
Hello and welcome back to my corner of the internet! This post is probably a product of me writing a few paragraphs every now and then.
Anyways, so long story short, you know how Goodreads shows you a bunch of recs after you finish reading a book? Yea, most of them are usually very white so I instead stalk May’s blog for some sweet diverse book recs.
Also no shade to anyone who actually likes these books. Some of the books on the list might be your favs and its completely okay if you disagree with my list. This post is my personal opinion only :)

Hello there! This month has been hectic to say the least. Exams, upcoming mid terms, just so much on my mind at the moment. Mono is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment to be honest. I am gonna be gone for most of October as our school thinks that it is perfectly alright to have mid-terms immediately after 50 Mark tests which are going on. I am just fed up.
But I would to say that I was not disappointed with the books I read or the new music releases this month.
Nevertheless, I am tired and I may or may not be buried under textbooks at the moment. Anyways, lets see how my month went!
