Tag Tuesday: The 20 Questions Book Tag (feat. More Screaming On We Are Not Free and ALL CAPS)

*looks back to find that the last tag I posted was in May* HAHA Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog! So as we all can see, its been a hot minute since I did a Book Tag.

Yea… I lied here.

I had no ideas for a blog post and today was conveniently a Tuesday so I thought why not do a book tag.

Today I am gonna be doing The 20 Questions Book Tag so lets jump straight into it-

1. How many books are too many books in a series?

Well as long as the series is interesting, I am fine with any number of books, to be honest, but I feel that 5 is a good point to stop. Also, there are some series like The Throne Of Glass, The Mortal Instruments and Shatter me which take the word “series” to a WHOLE other level.

2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?

I LOVE CLIFFHANGERS. Yes, they can be annoying but cliffhangers are the only things that make me wanna read the next chapter or the next book in the series.

3. Hardback or Paperback?

Anything is fine actually, until it is a book, I am okay. Hardbacks do look good on shelves but paperbacks are easier to read. JUST GIVE ME A BOOK OK?

4.Favourite Book?

Amazon.com: We Are Not Free eBook: Chee, Traci: Kindle Store

Hello hi. Yes this is officially my new favourite book. PLEASE READ THIS MASTERPIECE. I will not shut up about this book until everyone I know reads it. If you are unaware as to why I am screaming about We Are Not Free, you can check out my review by clicking here.

5.Least favourite book?

Well I have 4, all which I hate equally-

6. Love triangles, yes or no?

Ehh nah. This trope is VERY boring and generic.

THANK YOU, NEXT

7. The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?

The Night CircusI don’t dnf but I started The Night Circus a few months ago, read like 20 pages and just didn’t read it later on. Hoping to pick it up soon again.

I don’t know but I can already tell that this book is overhyped. I didn’t find anything that made me wanna keep reading, or maybe it’s just me.

8. A book you’re currently reading?

May Day (Seekers, #1) by Josie Jaffrey

Gonna start May Day by Josie Jaffrey today for my blog tour review and favourite quotes which will be coming up on 25th of this month.

Also, this book is my FIRST physical ARC!!!

9. Last book you recommended to someone?

I have been screaming about We Are Not Free ever since to my friends. PLEASE READ IT.

10. Oldest book you’ve read? (publication date)

The Secret Garden eBook: Burnett, Frances Hodgson, Gilbert, Sandra M.: Amazon.in: Kindle Store

I think its The Secret Garden but I can be wrong as I vaguely remember reading some ancient literature in my school library but I am too tired to think right now.

But this book was the one I actually enjoyed so I am gonna leave this here

11. Newest book you’ve read? (publication date)

Yes it is We Are Not Free yet again. We Are Not Free was published on 1st of September 2020, which makes it the newest book I read.

12. Favorite author?

I think it might be Rick Riordan. I am trash for his books anyways.

13. Buying books or borrowing books?

I prefer buying books because I like to own books but I am fine with borrowing them too. Not many of my friends are avid readers plus my school library only allows u to keep the borrowed book for a week and there are not other libraries in my town which leaves me the only option of buying books.

14. A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?

The Trials Of Apollo series.

This series just didn’t do it for me. I already ranted enough on as to why I dislike this series in my last post so you can check that out in case you missed it.

15. Bookmarks or dog-ears?

A piece of paper but yeah.. Bookmarks. I am not against dog-earing but I personally don’t dog-ear my books.

16. A book you can always reread?

I know that the question is A BOOK, but I wanna say The Percy Jackson or The Heroes Of Olympus series.

17. Can you read while listening to music?

Oh hell no. Even tho I am a music and book addict, I ironically cannot listen to music while reading.

PLEASE GIVE ME A REMEDYY. (left a link to the song just in case anyone was wondering what the heck I am referencing)

18. One POV or multiple POVs?

MULTIPLE PLEASE.

I don’t know but the more the merrier. I love books with many point of views (just like We Are Not Free)

19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

I wish I could read a book in one sitting. I have read books in one day but never in one sitting.

I usually like to read a book over multiple days because idk its more enjoyable?

20. Who do you tag?

Anyways,

Thank you for reading! If you enjoyed this post, don’t forget to leave it a like (or rate it) and follow my blog for more.

Do you prefer multiple point of views or single point of view? What are your thoughts on dog-earing? Let me know in the comments.

Till Next Time, Stay Safe!

  1. Thank you so much for tagging me 😊
I adore long series, my favourite book series is The Dresden Files and it currently has 16 books out and 2 short story collection and it has more books to go and I love that I get to spend so much of time with my fav characters

I am the same paperbacks are definitely easier to read so I tend to prefer that but I just want a book

  3. Can we talk about how spot on this post is?😂 I know I say this a lot but I truly mean it, 100 percent yes to what you said!
For the majority, book are better when there’s another 5 books. I’ve read series with more books but, the author has to be able to stay true to the characters and the plot.
Let’s not talk about that book! My sister and I renamed it Harry Potter and the book that should not be named. Is it just me or, does it feel like a fan fic?
Hmm , I can’t tell if you like We Are Not Free😂😂
Wonderful post and thanks for sharing❤️

  4. Fun tag! I prefer multiple pov because i like to be inside all of the character’s minds. And I don’t dog ear, but if other people want to commit high treason to their books they can go ahead. When people dog ear my books, that is when we have a problem 😅

  5. This is a fun tag! I may have to pick it up :) I LOVE SERIES, but I also really love urban fantasy, so they often have like 10-20 books in them 😅 Absolutely adore those series though, so it’s a good thing! For YA, definitely, 6 is a good maximum number 💕

  6. I loved reading your answers! I have the same problem that I have to buy books because lately I’ve been reading only in English and I live in a Spanish-speaking country. Not even the bookstore in my hometown sells books in English. I’ll consider myself tagged, thank you!
