Cinderella Is Dead Review + Kpop Playlist

Hello. So my monthly goals are going pretty okay. My mid-terms start on 16th so I thought that putting this post out today will be appropriate.

Ok so I don’t know how to start this post as the number of brain cells I have left are very few. So Cinderella Is Dead, this book was perfect. It came into my house and the cover called me ugly in 16262352757157 languages. I loved it so so much. Literally who knew I needed a black, queer and feminist retelling of Cinderella in my life.

I also made a Kpop Playlist to go with the overall mood of the book which will be linked at the end of the post. I am very new to making curated playlists but I tried my best to match songs with the mood of the book 🥺

So without further ado, lets get into the post-

Popular YA Books I Will Probably Never Read

I am very proud to announce that this post has been very kindly sponsored by the one and only Goodreads and its very white recommendations!

Hello and welcome back to my corner of the internet! This post is probably a product of me writing a few paragraphs every now and then.

Discussing The #OwnVoices Label|What Does It Mean And Why We Need It In Books

Hello humans! So its looking like someone’s brain is finally working. And oh, proper blog banners.

So in my last post, I reviewed The Bookweaver’s Daughter and was and still am very disappointed with the book. I am not gonna rant too much about because I already did that in the book review post.

After reading it, I felt the need to read books which were actually accurate but then I thought, what makes a book, an #OwnVoices book? Lets take a look at it together, shall we?
